EDITORIAL POLICY
Appeals & Complaints
Fair review of editorial appeals and complaints.
Authors may appeal an editorial decision when they identify a substantive error in process, evidence or interpretation. Appeals must be reasoned and focused on the decision record rather than simply requesting a different outcome.
Complaints about conduct, delays, confidentiality or process are reviewed separately from commercial considerations. Where appropriate, a staff member not directly involved in the original matter will review the case.
